Far to slow! your screw and engine is not efficient at such low speeds.

I had another type of fuel bug in my last patrol. I was returning to Wilhelmshaven when CE reported that the diesel had run out. Yet I was able to continue on the surface at 5 kts (ahead slow) until I could dock at base - a good 100 nm or so.

Is this a stock bug? I was in a Type IXB, using GWX 1.02.

You still have some fuel, after CE reports, that your fuel has run out. This has been in stock SH3 aswell. You can do about 150 nm with 9 kts.
