It's still in the MODS folder but enabling it doesn't seem to be discussed in the newer version of the manual, unless I overlooked it.
No, the GWX - Late War Sensors Snorkel Antennas mod still exists and is still to be enabled as per page 32/33 of the manual, where it is extensively discussed.

Thanks again.

Guys, please help those of us who are attempting to support you by posting your questions ONLY ONCE. There is no need to post the same q all over the place as all that results in is duplicate responses, taking the guys trying to support you away from supporting others, in addition to clogging up the forums.

Thanks for your understanding!

GWX 1.02 Works Great!

Just finished d/l and installing the new GWX 1.02 expansion patch. All went fine and it installed and works great.

Hats off and hearty congratulations to all the GWX team.

Well done, indeed!

Please help!
This message probably means that some GWX files are changed. This can be for three reasons.
1. You edited the Cfg files yourself
2. You have some mods installed and you didn't disable them
3. You haven't rollback SH3Cmd

Try to rollback SH3Cmd and disable the mods. If after that it doesn't work I'm affraid you will need a brand new installation.
Aww this is complete bull**** getting same error message I hate! hunting and pecking sh3 folder especially since I just went through an complete reinstall goddammit!
As Jaesen said in a previous post if you make sure you keep your GWX installation in order you will not have problems. I edited fome cfg files some time ago as well and I had to do a proper re-installation. That doesn't mean it's Jaesen's or the installer's fault. It was a calculated risk I took when I messed with the files. That's why I always keep a clean copy of GWX on my computer. Trust me the installer, SH3Cmd and the game work perfectly. The only thing we all have to do is to enable mods with JSGME, to rollback SH3Cmd and (try at least) not to edit cfg files.

Enjoy your Game

Not you too.....

Ok, as I understand it, the 1.02 patch will delete to Dec 23rd fix if it finds it. However, to be safe, disable it via JSGME first.

This new 1.02 Patch contains the Dec 23rd Fix.

That's my understanding as well. As long as you don't have mods enabled via JSGME patches and hotfixes make absolutelly no difference in the installation. Just make sure you don't enable them again after you patch up your game to 1.02

From the release post

Quote:
Installation

Before installing:

- DISABLE all activated modifications if you use the "Jonesoft Generic Mod Enabler" (JSGME). You cannot use JSGME to install GWX Patch 1.02, but you can use JSGME to activate other modifications after GWX Patch 1.02 is installed.

- REMOVE any installed SH3 Commander files (if you use "SH3 Commander") by pressing the "Rollback SH3" button from within SH3 Commander.

- ENSURE your active careers are all safely docked in port!

It is important that you follow these steps as the installer will look for SH3 Commander and JSGME files and will halt if any are found. Likewise the installer will halt if it does not find certain key GWX files.

After installing:

GWX Patch 1.02 includes all individual GWX fixes released to date. You do not need to re-install any previous GWX patch or hotfix after patch 1.02. Indeed, this patch will delete from JSGME any previous patches or hotfixes that it finds.

Please note that the GWX Manual has been updated. Take the time to review the manual before posting questions. For your convenience, a printer friendly version of the GWX 1.02 Manual can be viewed on-line at http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/GWX...NUAL_EN_PF.pdf

The installer will delete the Dec 23rd patch

BBW
I might add that the manual is an in depth, wonderful read about SHIII and WWII submarine warfare.
Anyone who doesn't take the time to read it is missing a great read.
Pablo did a marvelous job. It should also be noted that it is a work in progress and people continue to work on it to improve it.

Default newbie question

Is the rotating radio DF that automatically appears on the type VII and IX part of the 1.02 upgrade or did my install go wrong somehow? Is there anyway to disable it? Thanks in advance. I love GWX.

Just installed the patch, then the mods that I was using, plus the version of the dials to his update of GWX, and pronto, works fine.

Before, did what was told, rollback sh3commander,deactivected all mods, then removed the MODS folder from SH3 folder.
