You have not full info. DF antenna rotation mod for Stock, RUB1.45, NYGM 2.2 and GWX exists with 12/21/2006.

Hi,

Sorry, I didn't want to criticize Anvart's work. I like it and I use the raised DF antenna. I just wanted to know how the antenna was operated historically.

@ Myxale: Thanks for the link, very interesting! Unfortunately, nothing is written there how it was commonly used (raised 24/24,...?).

As I understand it was used much like the hydrophones, an operator trying to catch a radio transmition, picture it as when you use an AM radio nd rotate it to get a better reception, when you achieve the best result your antenna is lined up with the source.

For search of radiating objects aerials of the directed action are used.
