That is OneShot's work.

Thank OS, and Fish for posting the screen shot.

Cheers,

I on the contrary would like an option to *choose* the splashscreen for each lwami mod.

Clearly someone needs to make a mod for this. We can call it: LWAMI mod mod #1, or some such thing

Ah .. forget my whines .. I thought stock DW has no splash screen .. and that LWAMI somehow managed to create one. But now I've realized even stock DW has it, so it's just fine.

How do you change the default splash screen of dangerous waters ?
I want to use the first image OneShot did for the lwami, without having to install the full 3.07 mod.

In order to swap logos, all you need to do is change out the "logo.grp" and "logo.ndx" files.

So, if you want the 3.07 splash, you can find a way to get those files from the 3.07 install, and then stick them into your Mods/graphics folder for LWAMI 3.071, and you will have the 3.07 splash screen.

Before you do any file manipulations in the Mods folder, be sure you DISABLE the installed mods using JSGME first.

And I like BOTH splash screens. We all owe OneShot a big thanks.

Cheers,
David

The Splash Screen is located in logo.grp/logo.ndx . all you have to do is decompress the logo.* file and then you get two bmp files one of them named SPLASH.bmp.

SPLASH.bmp can be edited with every Image editing program - just make sure to have the right settings when saving it again.

Once done all you have to do is use the cmputil to add the SPLASH.bmp back into the logo.* file and swap the logo.* files with either the LwAmi Mod or with Stock DW.

Btw. with the JSGME Tool its easy to set up a minimod for just the splashscreen - you just have to activate it AFTER the LwAmi Mod and it will overwrite the LwAmi Files.

Cheers
