I downloaded and installed The Grey Wolves Expansion. And after reading some more from the forum i decided to stick with this mod only. Considering that i'm new to this game, i thought that one should be enough for me so far. Please correct me if i'm wrong because i want to get the "whole treatment" . So if there's anything else that i should worry about please point me to it.

I haven;t even played with the expansion installed because of the exams.
A full month of them!!!!Darn.....and it;s driving me nuts reading about all these goodies that are just a few clicks away from me

If you want to add fully to SH3/GWX experience you can use SH3Cmd (link http://www.users.on.net/~jscones/software/products.html) and SH3Gen (link http://www.global-explorer.de/) They both add to the game and complete your experience. Good Luck and if you need anything else you know where to ask

You can also use different sub skins for GWX if you want, but my suggestion would be to try the mod with SH3Cmd and SH3Gen for a bit and then you can start adding extra bits into it. You can click on my signature and on the link for more downloads.

Yes GWX and almost all other mods require a CLEAN installation of SH3 patched to v1.4

Welcome!

I'm new myself and like you was blown away by the stock game. After reading a bit here I decided to DL GWX and everyone before me was right. It goes from really good to awesome! And I would also agree that you need a clock close at hand. I just played for 6 hours and didn't realize it.

Can someone please provide me a list with all the movies (that are worth mentioning) about submarines? The only one i saw was The Hunt For Red October. I'm interested in historically-accurate movies not those hollywood pieces of poo
Thank you.
