EDIT: I hope the players will be able to turn off the music....The tune playing when the torpedoes hit that japanese ship was just......annoying...Kinda made me think of a hybrid between MacGyver & David Hasselhoff..... Yack..

Can someone build me a time machine to travel into the future a couple months? This game is looking awesome. I love the water effects. The victory music was kinda weird, though.

Yeah, I didn't like the music, either. But, eh, easily modded so it's no biggie....

Head for the mountains, freeze yourself in the snow, have someone dig you up and thaw you when the release date comes around. Just make sure you're not covered by an avalanche, and get buried too deep. You'll get thawed in 2546, where they have no computer games, and the only link to the past is a time phone which you must use to convince your past self not to freeze himself.

Or by then we have invented something simliar to the Star Trek hollow deck, and silent hunter XXVI is out... now you REALLY relive WW2. Oddly enough, harbors are once again empty.

I was actually referring to an episode of southpark where Cartman freezes himself because he can't wait for the Nintendo Wii

This explains the whole concept:

BTW: has anyone got the hi-res version of the trailer?

Watched this trailer again for the 5th time.

Frankly I am a bit troubled by the amount of damage caused by the torp. that hits the Kongo class BB. A BATTLESHIP is hit by a single torp. and it basically bursts into flame and sinks? And, the explosion sets fires all along the ship - even tho' later in the trailer we see that the hit was aft of the X turret. Doesn't look too accurate to me.

Let's hope that this was "jazzed up" for demo purposes.

Barkhorn.
