GWX multiplayer problem...

As long as the both of you have exactly the same install (ex. GWX with the 23rd update on both pcs) there shouldn't be a problem. I've played MP with GWX with others with no problems. Wish I had an answer for you.

Tonight I tried dipping my feet into the water with a GWX MP game. I also experienced the "server has quit" problem repeatedly, on both LAN and Ubi.com game attempts.

What was the problem that was identified by danlisa and Kpt. Kozloff? It will probably help me.

Acorn Minor.
You need to have the excate same files as the person who is hosting the game. If you have any different mods installed on your install to the person who is hosting you will CTD.
Make sure that you and all the other guys who want to play together have the same install and you will no problems

Us guys that play MP on here use the MP match up thread to let people know when a game is up and what mods they have installed.

I got that same problem too but everybody that I ask said that my comp is low-end to play GWX MP wit the dec23 patch on.

i would say you need at least 1gb of ram to get by on MP just to be safe.

Just meeting the minium specs to run SH3 will not be enough to play MP as the is so much more for your computer to handle.
