It's most likely due to bearing error, since you only had a few LOB's at 20 minutes. Also, if you did any maneovering during your TMA logging you would have alone account for the inaccurate LOB readings.

If while tracking you turn, you have to avoid to collect garbage (TA data when the array is not straight yelds garbage).
To avoid collecting bad data I used to speed up until the TA is "washed out" and hold that speed until the TA is straighly deployed again. But I don't know if this alone did affect your solution that much.
