Then it should be modded, so that with the addon you have for example 1 knot more speed?

It should be modelled that without the addon you have less speed

Well, thats what I ment, 1 knot more with it, and obviously without 1 knot less..

No, it shouldn't be modelled at all. The Type II and Type VIIa didn't have them, and Type VIIb and later did. They weren't optional, and you couldn't add them later.

But I also agree if they were going to make them an option in the game then the boats should have been slower without them. No Type IX ever went 22 knots.

That isn't true. I'm sure that several of them managed to make 22 knots.
