Hi,
I´ve had lots of crashes too, here´s some possible cure: The obvious things: - shut down (or even uninstall) any virus scanners, firewalls etc. (Windows firewall does cause SH3 to freeze or crash!) - reduce hardware acceleration (sound) in your dxdiag-setup/soundcard settings The less obvious thing: what about your soundcard? I had crashes with Realtek onboard sound. Make sure you have the lattest drivers. Also make sure you only use the soundfiles that are in stock SH3 OR come with GWX. I don´t know why, but one or two "home-made" soundfiles caused my system to crash. Cheers, AS

Yes, it´s probably a driver issue. Anyway, I got a cheap 5.1 soundcard now and this solved some of the problems.
Cheers, AS
