Default SH3 Commander + GWX

I know this has been asked and answered but I can't find it on the forums, sorry. Do I install SH3 Commander first and then GWX or the other way around? Thank you!

Install GWX first, then install SH III Commander.

EDIT: Also make sure to delete your SH3 folder in My Documents if you're doing a single install or rename them if you're doing a multi. Make sure everything in the SH III main folder is completely gone as well before doing a fresh install.

I have never found the "My Documents" files remaining make a difference, but I suppose to be thorough it wouldn't be a bad idea. The main folder is a must of course.

I would add that you should save a separate copy of SH3/data/cfg/NavalAcademy.log so that you can get the beginning career renown bonus without having to recreate the proper entries upon reinstallation if you intend to wipe everything.

Indeed! More than once I'd pulled the D'oh Face when I realised that was what gummed up a reinstallation. Hell I did it with GWX and by now you'd think I would have known better. :rotfl:

Default I'm not particularly computer savvy

What info is contained in the Sh3 files in My Documents that makes it so critical to erase?
