I've also seen a Corvett blow off it's own Stern in my career. It seems the DCs went overboard ok but were set wrong and blewup as they hit the water. Served 'em right for evading my torpedo. LOL But it was a shock as I've not seen this in the stock game.

The other strange thing I've not seen in the stock game, and only just saw it in theGWX PQ17 Single Mission, is numerous AI merchant ships colliding and remaining stuck together. There were 6 ships tha collided and each pair continued to sail on that way... in circles. 2 collided and caused damage and fires on each but separated and moved apart to continue on. Seeing PQ17 tkaes place in shallow water, numerous ships that were sunk showed their bow and sterns still above water. This is no surprise as I've seen it before. The surprise was a Medium Merchant running into a pair of sunken ships that had collided. If the wolfpack sank them, or they sank themselves, is not known. Just behind the Med. Merch was a Large Merch and Med. Merch stuck together. They came close to running into the same sunken pair but just missed. It was actually quite funny to watch all this take place.

And yes, I do have screenshots but will have to size and post them later on today.
