I suppose the best way to solve this is to solve this is to simply compare the two with an MD5 program or something.

Having said that, I strongly doubt that the GWX team is responsible for stealing anything from SeaWolves. Personally, I wouldn't touch the mod' with a 100-metres pole, and I'm sure the GWX team feels the same way.

Wulfmann...your Thomas Jefferson quote in your sig is a wee bit o' bull. I can name 5 countries just from memory that have tyrannical government and the right to bear arms.
Yesh. Guns don't do squat if the people decide not to use them because the rights being infringed upon are "for the better of the nation/for homeland security/because we're at war/[other]", as was the case in, oh, quite a few countries in the world. Some even argue it's the case in the US right now, what with the PATRIOT ACT and all.

The 20mm sounds are mine..i took the sample from a real 20mm, as for the other sounds those are from nipplespanner. Do us all a favour and troll some other forums.

OK.. perhaps I wan't clear enough.

Acting adult means no threats, taunts and no name calling.

If there is a point that you wish to make, debate or refute then do so with maturity, evidence and logic. If all you have is childish taunts or threats then keep them to yourself.

Is that better?

Guys there is a very simple solution for this problem.

Simply click on Wulmans name and then go to View Public Profile and then do this..

Bingo...problem solved and you never have to listen to his tripe ever again. Now if there was simply a way to prevent even his topics he starts from showing on my end I would love it.

And ole Wulfman has the honor of being the only one on my ignore list out of everyone on this forum.

But, the sound in GWX is the sound from Seawolves or at least the same sound I assume by the sound maker who sold it to Seawolves then gave it to GWX.
I have had these sounds since the first beta SW-Med a year ago. They were in SW-Med when it was released before the first TGW so please don’t start the SW stole it stupidity. Simple math dictates this.
Here is the irony for me. I take SW as a mod for those that don’t DL and tweak for whatever reason don’t mind paying to get an add on and not for those of us that are more serious about making this a better sim for U-Boaten.
Therefore these sounds remind me of the gamer version of SH3 add ons and not the serious side.
It might just be my association and maybe these are better but I hear gamey and I am moving the GW1.1, RUB, NYGM and other individual sound mods I have acquired into GWX because in spite of what some may think I do not want GWX to sound like Seawolves.
It does seem a little funny, GWX copied SW, even if it was unintentional, that is what happened. Excuse me if I:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I like the sounds in GWX. I also use the new explosions sounds from MRV (Thanx MRV, these sounds are good!!!)

(About those other things discussed: I wont go there. Consider me out of this thread.)

Really? You mean that I'm not on your list?? :rotfl:

I would like to comment on this topic, but usually when I open my mouth in here about these issues things tends to take off...and it's still Christmas, I'll be back tomorrow if the thread isn't closed

John Channing, I wonder where you were when a member of this forum raised a very serious threat against me a few days ago. That post wasn't completely removed by the other moderators.

Anyway, some moves were taken outside the forum, and I believe that the threat was harmless.

Sorry, this isn't topic, but I had to mention it.

Hopefully it will be closed
AFAIK I am the only GWX member to have the SW cr@p
Which is how I knew Donuts was trying to pass SW's LaGG as his own and one of the reasons he was ejected from the team

And I have nothing to do with the sound dept

Trust me there is NOTHING in that mod worth having

You had to? You could´ve sent him a PM instead. And what "very serious threat" are you talking about?

Anyway, time to close this, the thread will lead to nothing.
