Well went back to my type VIIB........Sure enough there was my side emblem......showing loud and clear.......Upgraded to a type VIIC....Sure enough it let me select the same side emblem even showed up on my sub in specials. Looked on side of sub as leaving harbour........ZILCH...NOTHING

If you apply thr Dec 23rd patch it fixes the missing texture prob
Make sure you are in port Rollback SH3commander Disable any mods you have added through JSGME Install the Dec 23rd patch through JSGME Click the link under my sig to D\L the Dec 23rd patch Oh and the type 21 now has been fixed to accept conong tower emblems |

I do not have the sh3 commander mod, in fact i have no mods enabled at all..cept the 23rd mod........And the side emblem still dont show on the sub.....Thanks anyway my friend.

Trouble with Battle for the med. mod install
I have followed the instructions, but have not been able to boot shIII with battle for the med. installed on comp. Main screen loads half way, and then crashed with error report to microsoft. Please help?

@zues1313 first of all welcome to SubSim, Bad news you you i'm afraid.
As far as i'm aware GWX is NOT compatable with the BFTM addon, As the addon is an old product ( not going to open that can 'O' worms again ) and GWX surpasses it. If you are just talking about the addon on top of a Clean install of SH3 patched to 1.4 then i cannot help you as i don't have and or use that Addon. Sorry |

:hmm: I have some qustions about this mod. I must admit that I have not tried it yet, but I am very curious to do so.
Have the AI sensors been tweaked in either directions in GW to prevent super, laser-accurate asdic, impossible to shake off, or the inability of the hydrophones to hear a sub running silent? I once saw a thread were people were talking about the ability to call in air support when attacking a convoy, is this feature really present in GW? I love the things the manual is showing, especially the ability of getting a snorkel mounted RWR device, so far, in my opinion, focus has only been on the limitations of the submarine in the later years of the war and not the counter measures to the increased efficiency of the Allied ASW that were available, not to mention the rewritten campaign and the added flotillas ![]() Don't get me wrong please, the previous questions are not critics in any way of GW or any mod. I'm only asking in order to get information since I have seen the topics in many threads, but cannot find anything about it in the GW manual that comes with the latest GW release. ![]() |

Yes the AI sensors are altered from GW1.1 They are IMHO just about right You can lose a DD at silent running ( 2 Kts ) and deep Give it a try I think you will be more than happy with the results Oh - If you report a convoy when you are close enough to Axis air bases you will get air support Too far away and you wont |
