Hey AG124, could you explain me a bit more why it has been made this way? Maybe I shouldn't change it...

The generic names allow for more realistic manual ship identification, and is a compromise between specific names for merchants and the universal 'contact' designation in GW 1.1a. At least that's the way I understand it.
Normally, I would strongly warn against changing any GWX files. But in this case, we are talking about a simple text file, and so if you really have a problem with the museum description mix-ups, you can change the names in Englishnames.cfg or Germannames.cfg so that each merchant has its own name. (A couple of them are listed twice with two different names but don't worry about that - in such a situation, SHIII will choose the first name in the list). |

Thanks for reply, one of the first thing I do after installation is to turn off 'auto identification' in wolfies tweak pack. If this is only a matter of wrong data in museum, it's not a problem. I thought that all of those liners have thhe same tonnage.

No, they all do have different tonnages both in the stock game, and in GWX.
