I tryed to find the solution through search forums and read a lot of threads, but...
So I would be very greatefull for some help or hints!
Happy New Year everybody!
Most of the radio messages are just eye candy.

All the best matey.

Thank you for explanation, Jimbuna!
A little bit disappointed - seems to me it could be interesting to use radio messages for hunting...
Good luck!

If you use one of the Wreford Brown mods they are announcements of historic events that are actually scripted into GWX.

I think it's Lehmann News or something similar that is currently used.....this keeps you informed of historical events around the world as well as the scripted events.

When in a SH3 multiplayer game & you are closing on the convoy press the the fullstop & comma keys & you flick through the ships in the convoy in gods eye mode

Hi guys! I´m really glad to have ended here. This is my first reply (and the first post i write in my entire life). I think this is really great and, of course, have been very helpfull to me. Just wanted to say hello.
One other thing, i´m an old bastard so if i write like a child it´s because mi language is spanish not english LOL but i trying to give it a try. Once again, hi to all.
P.D: It´s amazing how Setkeys have simplified my life... i barely use the mouse now and, the better part, my girlfriend thinks i´m writing or something not playin hehehe...

Default Turn off controls

I was asking in the 'search for mod' discussion if there was a mod or keypress to turn off the dials and controls so you can screen capture the full screen.

SquareSteelBar and Jimbuna said this can be done by selecting

NumLock

followed by DEL to toggle the dials off and on.

I find it bazaar these things are not documented in the manual - or is it my failing eyesight?

Are you pressing the correct key? The Delete key will just lower your observation scope. The one you want is the Del /. key on the numberpad - the bottom right of your keyboard, most likely between 0 and Enter

Hi, and for my first contribution...

Quote:
In the Data/Cfg folder you will find the 'commands_en.cfg' file.

At the top are the 6 commands for time commpression. Change command 6 to :

[Cmd6]
Name=Time_compr_normal
Ctxt=1,2,6,9
Key0=0x0D,,"Enter"

Then about 3/4 down the page there are the commands for firing, tube selection, ect... change command 313 to

[Cmd313]
Name=Fire_torpedo
Ctxt=1
;Key0=0x0D,,"Enter"

Putting the ; infront of a line stops the game from using that line.
I am using stock SH3 and have been, err, tinkering, so for those of us without GWX or keymapping utils, here is how to map the torpedo to Control+Enter.

[Cmd313]
Name=Fire_torpedo
Ctxt=1
Key0=0x0D,c,"Ctl+Enter"

My latest tweak is to map the navigator reporting the depth under the keel to Control+K.

[Cmd130]
Name=Get_depth_under_sub_keel
Ctxt=1
MnID=0x3F250005
Key0=0x4B,Cc,"K"

Oh, and don't forget to make a backup copy of the file before you edit it, just in case it all goes horribly wrong!
