Make sure that you check the mine / net pull-down map before setting out. What looks like an unused open chanel is one to avoid, as I found out first time out of Lorient. All set for a glittering career with my brand new game, next thing I knew I was flooding and sank with all hands. After I had to reformat my HDD and re-install everything I decided to start my career from St Nazaire (1940), more of a straight run out.
