*sigh*

I have tried to get her to play 'propper' games (SHIII) on her pc over the LAN, but as ever the seeds always fall on stony ground
You already have half the battle covered - just getting her to play games. If you let her play, she will eventually graduate to something more complex.

This is why people camp out at the stores : http://cgi.ebay.com/SONY-PLAYSTATION...QQcmdZViewItem
There are tons of other ps3 or ebay going for the same amount. Considering the ps3s go for 5 to 6 hundred bucks that's a really good profit.

Just read, some brit has paid 15100 dollars for his PS3 from an auction. Also some guy was shot in the chest, when some youngsters came to rob people waiting in queue.

Some people have more money than sense.

I would like to take the opportunity, on the very first page of this thread, to say that viral marketing can suck it. All day.

Secondly, no I'm not going to buy a Playstation 3. I have become decidely less enthuastic about the Wii in the past month, due to the fact I have to hunt around for the component connection, but I will likely be buying a Wii and playing Zelda. Maybe Metroid; I'm not real excited about first-person-shooter Metroid, but I might give it a try.

Probably the Mario game, whatever it will be. Maybe the Donkey Kong one. And lastly, whatever Zelda/Mario/DK Kart racing game that Nintendo will be putting out.

It's probably about time for Zelda Kart.
