Well I guess not your contact reports triggered them. I think they are (randomly) scripted and don't show up every time. But none the less a nice feature!
Cheers! Mr. Fleck |

A red "sunk" ship symbol usually means you get the tonnage for that ship. Did you get the tonnage for those ships?
I'm not sure on this but if a ship sinks because it went aground or hit another ship it shows up with a black sunk symbol and you don't get the tonnage for it. |

In reply I had sunken 2 cargo vessels prior to reaching that grid from St nazerine . and than 1 more from the convoy .so no I wasnt awarded the tonnage ! In eariler post And in asking some of the vet U-boat simmers . I made the statement . that the military channel had a feature On the seris "Battle front " About . U-boats .. This was an actuall former Uboat Captian . He said that they were directed Not to attack a convoy until other boats arrived , thus why they were called wolfpacks . But until the other subs arrived than they worked tougther and attacked the convoy . SO IAm real glad that the Dev team did thir homework . its nice to know that The computer cares if you not the only one on patrol in the campaign mode |
