Hello and welcome to SubSim
![]() as the others said the 'Med mod' is a bit of a sensitive topic, so it's better if you approach it with caution. As far as the mods and the game are concerned there are two basic 'supermods' GW and NYGM. Both of them are brilliant and it really depends on the individual which one you like. I suggest you have a look at both of them. I play GW and I think it's the best package out there but that's of course a personal opinion. On the subject of ships have a look at this http://www.communitymanuals.com/shii...hip_Weak_Spots I think it will help you. Another little program you can use is SH3 Commander. It helps you manage your crew and edit your patrol areas etc. It's a must!!! If you have any other questions feel free to ask. Good Luck and Good Shooting |

OK ONE last question then I'll quit bugging you guys for the night.
I have RUB 1.45 and love it, only thing i want is my default map back. How can I get back either the default map (that shows contacts with 'tails') or another user made map that has that feature. Please do not say reinstall the whole thing again! Plus I would not have RUB that way. Thanks in advance and no more questions till at least 1300z! Chuck |

I can't get to my computer right now to give you a precise answer, but one of the beauties of RUB was it's readme; Beery listed each separate file that was changed. A carefule reading of it will let you replace any single part of that mod, just by following the directions.
I used some of RUB, following that formula and replacing everything I wanted, one at a time.

Rgr that. 1X time compression is what I was talking about. I guess there is something else out there referred to as IX.

Hey guys, if any of you can help me out in my other thread entitled "RuB 1.45" further down the page please do!
It got moved for whatever reason and now it will not bump itself to the top so its slowly sinking like I did on my last career mission. Chuck |
