SSteve, I'd be very careful installing any TGAs during a patrol. I've done it and lost a career because I did.... and have done it more than once by mistake. Plus being in a hurry to get a new mog installed that has TGAs in it. No joke.

I was being a little light-hearted (light-headed?), but you're right; it's not really 100% safe ever. Once during a patrol I was exiting and using SHIII Commander to change fatigue models-repeatedly. I had no problems at all, but then I didn't care about that patrol anyway; I was just experimenting.

It's always a good idea to wait until you're in port to change anything. If you want to see how it worked, load up a single mission. That way there's nothing to lose.
