I'd like to know what will be better: TN 2 ms 16,2 mln colours or MVA 8 ms 16,7 mln colours?
Is it big difference between TN 16,2 mln colours and MVA/PVA 16,7 mln colours?
I'm looking for fast LCD with pretty colours. What should I choose - TN or MVA/PVA?
I play SH3 of course and flight simulators, strategy games and FPS.

I have a Dell Ultrasharp (DVI) widescreen and it looks awesome. I'm not really promoting Dell. I just like those monitors. And as I've said on other threads, find one with a low response time and good contrast ratio.

I have a Dell 19' LCD. I'm happy with it. Samsung is a good product. Also check out Viewsonic. I hear these are nice as well. My pop got a Sony with a super nice picture. Use the internet and get reviews. Compare each. Then make your decision!

Very good advice. I do it all the time. I mean, think about it people. You have a computer at your disposal. You're on the Internet and have a vast supply of information at your fingertips. It would be a waste not to take the opportunity of using that fact to your advantage.

That reminds me of when I visit my parents and it never fails that I'll have a conversation with my Mom about something she has a question about. And I always tell her to just look it up on her computer. The answers are always there by just doing a search.

I do it for all the time from last week, but it doesn't make my decision simpler.
After reading many reviews I have four types for choose: BenQ FP91GP (MVA 8 ms), BenQ FP93GX (TN 2 ms), Samsung 940FN (MVA 8 ms) and Samsung 940BF (TN 2 ms). I don't know which will be the best.
What will be better: TN 2 ms or MVA 8 ms for playing games and internet?

They are probably just as good for one as the other. Flip a coin, heads for TN and tails for MVA. Either way you will like either one

IF you can, try and see them side by side doing the same tasks, then you can pick which one you like the best. If your going to play a lot of games, movies or anything that has alot of movement, the 2ms seem the better way to go, you will have less chance of the image blurring.

If it will be more image based work, where colour will be the big thing, go for colour count.

Either way, I think there will be little difference between them.

Good luck

You make a good point fred but some of us neewbs only have specs like on my earlier posts. The help from retailers are dumber than me. They ask what i like and how much i want to spend. So all the help we can get here from more experienced people here will help with this major purchase decision.
I use the internet to look localy but the only specs i know are high res & low ms and size of monitor for cheapest price. Sometimes thats not the best answer or deal.

I know. I was just giving some helpful advice. There's many ways to skin a cat and being here in this forum is obviously one way of doing it.

Oh, by the way, newegg.com is one of my favorite places to read user reviews.
