Default Mods & super mods compatibility

Hi, been reading these forums / playing SHIII for around 18 months now ... but this is my first post. I have a fair bit of modding experience (with other games) and wondered if it would be a good idea to create a sticky thread for each supermod where folk can list which minor mods they are running, succesfully, with the supermod.

For my part I'm running;

GW 1.1a with;

SHC 2.6
SHWeather
SH3Gen
SpaWolves 1.01 (English) for Grey Wolves 1.1a
Sobers 3d Waves
Geheimprojekt_Typ_XXI textures
GW 24 hour fatigue fix
Added HMS Hood

AND the following manual mods;
Reduced sea speed to 0.5
Made XXI available from 1939

I think that is an excellent idea ! I haven't been here long but have noticed a pattern i.e. a mod is posted then 'is this mod compatible with..' This would clear up a lot of confusion and uncertainty. I'm with you on this idea !

That's a great idea. You can start a thread and always update the first post (since you're the only one to be able to edit it), About the stickyness, I guess this will be determined according to the thread popularity my the moderators.

nice idea !
it helps the people that wants tweak the Big paks.

i´m still running with a modded Rub 145 version .

The problem with big mods is that always there are some thing that you don´t like or prefer to change by other.

SH3 Commander is compatible with just about everything, as it's an external tool, not really a mod. It's best to install it last, but since that's not always possible, just make sure you perform a manual rollback (there's a button that says "Roll Back SH3 Commander") before installing any new mods. Commander will do the rest.
