I accidentally discovered, that you can move entire crew from a compartment to rest.
Click compartment name left-right-left-right to move. I haven't seen this on any documentation, on community manual or here. Wonder if there are more undocumented commands. Map zoom-out would be nice with keyboard. ![]()

I have heard of that but never attempted to use it. I will give it a try.

I've gotten the whole compartment to move to rest by putting the mouse over the compartment name and right clicking. The compartment area can't be highlighted; ie; if you left click first the right click won't work. Left click on another compatment, then right click on the compartment you want to move to rest

Well that isent exactly a revelation and its documented in the manual.
I know there was major bugs with the "macro management" buttons I dont know if it was fixed with the patches or not but they used to cause CTD's. |

RTFM page 23.
I agree with that. But it doesn't seem to work. When trying to move stern torpedo crew to an unoccupied ec. bow quarters, response is: "Already in quarters!". Still trying to figure it out. But it doesn't work like said id the book.:hmm:

The stern crew will only automatically go to rest in stern quarters. If I want them in bow quarters I have to 'left-click-bow quarters, right-click stern torpedo'. If I left-click damage control, then right click a manned compartment, it won't do anything. Unless the weather is bad, and then I get a 'cannot man guns in rough water' message. (eh!?) I know there's a coupla others, but I can't recall them off the top of my head. |

Just completed my first mission, in a Type IIA. Came across a Polish Merchant. Hit it with two torps but she wouldn't go down. I had one torp left I figured would do the job. I had to send those lazy louts in the torpedo room back to quarters three times before they would finally finish loading it. LOL! I should have dismissed all of them when I returned to port and loaded a new crew, but I didn't. I did sink the Polish Merchant though.
