Strange comment when my men got killed

I have a similar situation when I surfaced in the mission U-505. As soon as I surfaced, two seconds and...
"OH MY GOT!! OH MY GOT!!"

My men died quite quickly.

The boat, in the end, due to a crack repair crew, took 8 bomb hits and two friendly fire torpedoes (don't ask) before crushing on the surface. (also don't ask)
