Only using GW mod, with Sober's graphic tweaks, and TT's CrushDepth Mod. So unless GW has anything that's already there, I'm Clean. Oh yes, and SHIII Commander 2.6.

But I like some of his mods such as the Funkraum & I think the Bordeinstrumente mods were his & they are very good!

I agree with Reece.

The only mod from him (or is it stolen?) i would use is the Onboard interior mod. But i can't find it someware, his filefront page seems to be empty.

Well the onboard interior mod contains *at least* one non-donots file - flaggen.tga by JCWolf (another WIP). Dunno about the other files.

The Bordistrumente mod was made by "Oakgroove" (or Oakgrove) and donots76 did some minor re-working of the same. I wouldn't worry about that too much Reece. From what I can see donots just did some cutting and pasting of textures. All of it on top of Oakgroove's works.

The actual work is still superb, no matter where it was downloaded from. Just credit should go to those who made the work, not just hosted it again.

Hi Jmack, it would appear that donut76 has taken other peoples mod and made /is making changes and claiming them as his own work.

To remove all doubt, we have removed donots76 from the GWX dev team for suspected theft weeks ago regarding other unrelated GWX file-sets.

We have removed donots76 from the GWX credits.

To the best of our knowledge we have removed all works submitted to us by him.

Any works deemed important enough will be re-done by us and may constitute a GWX release delay of a few days.

As I write this, donots76 is reading this thread and has had nothing to say in this forum as far as I am aware... to even attempt explaining his actions.

If I thought for one moment that this was a first offence... I think clemency would be in order. Anyone can make a mistake. The most recent occurrance is not his first... and at no time did he ask permission or even bother to credit the actual artist... and he stated it was his own work.

My vote is to ban donots76. The evidence is clear. It is not okay to ignore it.

whats I wants to know is was he kicked of GW for this stuff why they sat by then and did not seem to care much? yer they kick him off but all hush hush and no outcry then.

What donots76 do is very wrong, but gw always seem to have no trouble accuss NYGM of stealing every other weeks

I not defends donots76 I just question gw motives to be only self serving when it was their work. when it was work of others they not so concerend.

Donots was kicked from the team by other reasons, but yes, it was stealing.

I´ve been following your posts for sometime and I can see you are a big fan of NYGM, so I forgive you. I too see that you are pretty new here in SS, so you dont have a clue what your 'modding god' did in the first place and what caused the bad blood between the teams.

Oh, almost forgot! Could you tell me or point out a post where someone from the GW team has accused NYGM of stealing?

PS. GW team is not the forum police, we cannot remember if some mod is really made by the uploader or by some other. This recent upload by Donots was easy to recognise as it is part of the GWX.
