There is a Snorkel in the Kilo

The Kilo can get in much shalower water

Kilos also have Starfishies too.

The Akulas Towed array is worthless in shallow water.

The Kilo can pick up a Akula at 5 miles with the akula at 5 kts. (Ive done it already)

The Kilo's conformal array is MUCH more sensitive than the Akula's

Yes the kilos weapon range is limited (10.5 miles max for reg torpedoes)

A kilo can detect most targets at 4 times the range it can be detected, meaning if you find me at 4 miles, there would already be one of my torpedoes in the water coming strait at you

Kilos don't need to go under ice......they go in very shallow water.

Kilos ARE the quietest sub in the game.....

-Is this tasty?

i can pick up your akula from more then 10 miles away meaning your torpedos are totaly worthless, your kilo cant go in many areas my akula can.

And i have no problems navigating my submarine with just 1 meter of water under the keel and at PD, which means i can get almost level with you in shallow waters.

The second you turn your diesels on to charge them batteries is the second i push fire, you dont seem to realise that the diesel engine makes around 20 times more noise then the batery and you cant live off the battery for longer then 36 hours and yes i can sit and wait for that long .

Starfish is antiquated my Stallions and SS-N-27's can hit your submarine far beyond the range of your starfish.

The Kilo has no towed array and relys soley on hull mounted sensors

At 25 meters deep water and im at 20 meters my towed array works just fine at 4 to 5 knots and im not cavitating.

The may be the quietest submarine in the game at 0-3 knots but the second you pile on the power all im going to do is sit and wait till your batery dies then the second you pop up im going to fire 4 torps at you and your going to be utterly helpless, as the sonars dont work too well close to the surface.

The Akula is designed mainly for Anit submarine warfare the kilo is not the kilos main role is to protect the coast line and insert special forces its main role as a medium range attack submarine is to attack mainly ships and gather intelligence and protect coast lines.

You only realy have the advantage of being quieter, but ive got more advantages however the tables do tun in littoral waters.

argh!

10 miles away? really? Sonar isn't good in shallows, as you just said

ALMOST is the key word here. I routinly (bad spell) operate with less than 3 m of H20 under teh boot.

The batterie's charge (i know it sounds weird) dosent deplete at 3kts or less. says so right on the Carge-o-meter.

yes, but your SUBROC's won't do you any good in SHALLOW water. it takes them like 200-300 ft of water to start to climb again from the drop.

The kilos hull sonar is very sensitive

the conformal will easliy pick up an akula at 4-5 kts at 7 miles or so....

Its not like im gunna be going anywhere fast. why would i need the power?

Is the coast line not shallow? protecting shallow water sounds just the same, which your akula will be in. you just pointed out that the kilo is good in what you say it wasn't.

They sure do! Im not really found of taking a kilo in open ocean, usually, unless its to kill a pesky surface luber (lover).

And dont even make me dust off the old Seawolf!

If you do it correctly you can land the stallions with just 75 feet of water, and at miles i will hear your torps and be able to get well out of their range my 65cm's can go 27 miles the max torp range you have is about 10.6 miles i can fire at twice the range.

which is why you get closer than the torpedoes max range.

If i can detect you at 7 miles it would mean tha i can get way out of your torps range when i hear you fire them, then i can just scream them back at you and i can garentee a no miss.

27 miles over 10.6 isnt alot to work out im going to win :P
