Maybe it's been said before somewhere, but shouldn't the anchor be on the other side of the boat's nose on the original GW loading screen?
OTOH I appreciate artistic freedom, so no problem.

Wonderful work Boris. I myself am a complete moron regarding anything related to photoediting and stuff, so I deeply admire any work. But this is awsome. This GW image allways fascinated me, even though I really do not think that a type VII could surface at such an angle. But it doesn;t matter anyway, it looks fantastic. PLease, post more works here mates if you have them.

I can't take credit for the original GW loading screen... the honour belongs to Markhimov. I just added the convoy, got rid of the black edges, increased the resolution etc.

ustahl, I think you're right about the anchor, the image must have been mirrored.

You can actually surface you're uboat at such an angle... just keep blowing your tanks from a fair depth on full speed!

Boris, I agree re having been mirrored, but digging even deeper into detail, it's only the boat that's been mirrored, the moon is correct.

So, in order to make it really correct, you could either retouch and discard the anchor or, if you want to retain the anchor, mirror the image and then cut and mirror the moon and text back to their present shape.

But pls don't me take too serious, mate. Your screen looks great, and I don't think people should give a damn for those details I pointed out.

Jeez, let it go
Nah, I really can't be bothered caring about a wallpaper right now, my time is better spent working on GWX anyway.
