I think they made some maintenance work on the hull. But this is an old pic because ORP Orzel(Eagle) participated in a NATO exercise in Denmark a couple of weeks ago.
We used to have two Foxtrot submarines also, but they got decommissioned in 2003.
ORP Wilk(Wolf) and ORP Zbik(Wild Boar).

If you go around in the base with google eath you can also see our Kobben class submarines.

Subs at Pearl
Subs at Norfolk
USS Iowa near my hometown of Benicia
USS Missouri and Arizona
3 Carriers at Naval Station Norfolk

Btw, The fleet landing at Bandar Abbas is on the left side of the picture. that's where we came ashore when I was there in 1973.
