Also remember that convoys in NYGM 2.2 have randomly changing speeds. While they might have been going at 8kts when you got their report, they might be anywhere between 5-11 kts by the time you find them, and change during the encounter.

I think the OP said he was aiming for his pants.
You have to aim for the ships, not your pants. Now if your girlfriend tells you you've got a torpedo in your pants, that's a different story.

![]() Kylania, I always take speed measures on my targets, so it wasn't speed. It WAS because the torpedo gyro thought the ships were moving in reverse at 8 knots that they sailed so much wrong. After I corrected my AOB method (ahem) my eels struck home and I bagged me a larget merchant and a large tanker.
