Flag recognition in GW?

Suggestion for the new version of GW: flag recognition chart, or is there one already included that I'm missing?

Also, why has the ship recognition been removed from the attack periscope interface? I liked knowing what kind of ship I was potentially attacking, or am I supposed to leaf through the ship manual? :hmm:

Well...most of the flags are included,

when installing GW mod, you have to option to toggle on/off the Generic Recognition or sumthing like that.

if you have it turned off all the ships will show up with the stock names
if you have it tunred on all the ships will show up as Contacts

I like the generic so, it makes me feel like...What ship is that? I only see smoke...lets take an closer look. and I,m already that far that I can reconize ships by the shapes. dont really need the manual anymore.

If you installed GW 1.1a, just reinstall and deselect the generic contacts option. As for the flags, check the extreem upper left corner. They are there along with other charts.

I almost always compare the ships flag to what I see in the recognition manual. I did this twice when I found a polish tramp steamer coming out of Kristansand a week before the invasion of Norway He should have waited a week

Yep, there is a whole flag chart drag-down @ upper left of your F3 attack scope screen.
