I had IE7rc on my computer and it was the worst thing I ever downloaded. It is incompatable with my isp and meant that i could not open any pages.Somewhere along the line the installation removed IE6 leaving me totally ******!

Look on the upper left of the browser. Just below the back arrow there is a yellow star and a yellow cross. The yellow cross will add the current page on the web browser to your favorites. The yellow star will open up your list of favorites.

I for one have really enjoyed the IE7. Big improvement IMO.

I liked IE7 when it worked.Having multiple panes was useful when copying and pasting. However my system fell apart within hours of downloading 7RC.It took a LONG time to get it back.I am now running on a version of 6 and have Mozilla as a back up.

I know how to open list of favorites, that is not my problem.

But thanks anyway, your answer pushed me in the right direction. After clicking the star I can rigth click any fav folder and choose "open in tab group", and then all favorites in that folder are opened all in a seperate tab. So one click allows me to open multiple sites, and THAT what what I was looking for

I have no idea why this option is not available via the favorites option in the top menu bar ?!?!?

I agree I use Firefox myself. Lots of alternatives out there, Opera is another.

I used FF for a year or so, but got fed up with all the crappy extensions one needs to make it really usefull, and on top of that many extensions overlap eachother so one has to weed through several of them to tweak a simgle thing that.

Now I am using IE again (ever since forst ie7 beta) and I like it a lot. It simply works. Remember: my browser is just a tool, not a way of life, and also not a way to express my political opinion.
