You may have noticed that although SH3 uses the correct Mediterranean water textures for Med-based single missions, it uses the Atlantic water textures for Med-based careers. It doesn't matter what pretty Med water textures you install, you'll always get the Atlantic ones when careering in the Med. Not surprisingly, however, SH3Cmdr includes a fix which forces the correct Med water textures when in a career based in the Med (and this includes the GWX-added 23 Flotilla). What this means is that with no other water textures installed, you'll get the stock SH3 Med textures (an improvement in itself). You'll still need to install other mods to change the water textures themselves, but at least SH3Cmdr has made it possible to see them when in a Med career. |
