Default Nelson in 2

The other night I penetrated Loch Ewe and bagged a C2 (neutral unfortunately) and the Nelson. I figured I wouldn't get the Nelson, but just damage it, as I only had 2 loaded fish left. I shot the first, set to impact (too shallow for magnetic). It hit just under the superstructure. Since the eel impacted the torpedo belt, no serious harm was done to the BB. Then I lined up a second, this time aft shot. Still set to impact, I aimed just fore of the superstructure under one of the big boys where I guessed the ammo room would be. It went BOOOM in an almighty explosion and to my utter, jaw-dropping disbelief, she sank.

So to make a long story short, I sank a BB with two shots. Has anyone else achieved this feat (with NYGM or GW)? Or is this a common occurance and I'm getting too excited? I'm using GW.

Is the Nelson always there? What was the date that you were there? I want to get a BB kill. Haven't seen one in a campaign patrol in over a year!

Sep. '39. I'm doing an epic career and I hope to make it to the end of the war.

It's tough to get through the entire campaign alive! I've only done it once but I didn't use full 100% realism. I think I used like 80% and the RUB 1.3 mod and dead meant dead. That is the true way to play with no saves, unless you make it home to port to save and come back to where you left off the next day etc... It's fun to go from a IIA to a larger boat though. Makes you feel a sense of accomplishment! Anyway, thanks for the respond and good luck with the career!

i started in sept 1939 in a type 2 then i switched to viib then after 12 patrols a IX-B now i am in 1944 and jus got my xxi its vanilla sh3, and i played at 100% DiD , lowest hull integrity was 5% and i lost my both of my diesiels and 1 electric, so i went ahead slow with 1 electric and had to coast into the sub pen.

I sunk a BB with one torp, Hit the magazine and up she went. I've done it to all ships except the @*#($! Liberty and Victory ships, they just soak up torpedos.
