Yes, there's got to be a 'start' for everything, that's for sure. I had sure hoped that would be the simple act of 'reading' the sonar! Heck, I even surfaced and used the Radar better !!!

I dunno what was wrong, but I un-installed DW completely.. re-installed and patched it, and 'yes'... now my BB Sonar in the DW 688i works. I suppose the lesson is to buy a case of suds.. wait for a solid rainy day, GET MY 'HIGH-LIGHTER' OUT, and start slugging my way through..... that pile of pages.
Ah... the joys....

Oh well, the sooner you get started reading the manual the sooner you'll have a great time with DW!
 There's nothing better then learning hard and seing that it was worth the time
