Silent Hunter III (of course) and The Sims 2 (with all the add ons). I like the fact that chicks dig The Sims 2.
On console I play Guitar Hero somewhat. Other games I've enjoyed recently: Thief - Deadly shadows Richard Burns Rally Grand Theft Auto - Vice City Grand Theft Auto - San Andreas Rome Total War I haven't really tried any of the newer games like FEAR or Gun, since I have to upgrade my computer before I can do that. |

Now Playing:
SH3 Day of Defeat - Good online WW2 gaming but can be a bit noobish. The Godfather -Great to revisit the classic story but alot of GTA stuff that isn't done properly. Madden NFL 06 - Fun to manage a team but online play is retarded. The game always artificially creates drama. My last game was 77-55 with my friend. D was non existant. CoD2 -Just to say I played it. SP sucks badly. You are pitted as GOD versus the Third Reich. Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood - Loved the first and the second, despite a slighty less interesting story, is great. CoD can eat ****e. Wanted: Supreme Commander - Chris Taylor is gaming royalty and he's back to save us sinners from Starcraft's heresy. Company of Heroes - Don't care what anyone says, soldiers that take cover and totally destructable terrain in an RTS is wicked. Relic hasn't let us down yet. Brothers in Arms: Hell's Highway - BiA is to Band of Brothers as CoD is to... well I can't think of a war movie that is as stupid as CoD. The new graphics and brilliant new features makes this my most anticipated game. Graphics even look better than CoD3. Hall of Fame: Total Annihilation - Greatest RTS to date. Say what you will for C&C or Warcraft but this baby is the jewel that's still playable 9 years hence. Amazingly modular gameplay. Not nearly as predictable as Starcraft. Endless replay value and a modding community that is still going. Brothers in Arms: Road to Hill 30 - It was the answer to my incessant cursing after playing CoD. It has tactics and a story and characters who's names you will remember after you have finished playing. CoD can't say any of that. It feels like a lost chapter of Band of Brothers. Homeworld - 2nd favourite RTS. 3D space in an RTS. Come on people that's just insane! Grim Fandango - I can't explain exactly what this game is cause it's too cool and insane. Think Myst meets art deco meets a quirky story meets the Mexican day of the dead. Google it. GTA: San Andreas - I loved the story most of all. The celebrities were great. James Woods stole the show. Sam Jackson is a badass. An almost cinematic game at times. |
