RJCJunior, sorry to have hijacked your thread with all this personal stuff. I was very excited to get your material on shipping losses around Brasil. Yes, I know how to speak and write in Portuguese. I was born in Rio and lived in Rio Grande do Sul until I was 17. Went to the US for University and Graduate school, then returned to Sao Paulo to work for another two years. Then in 1976 came back to the US and have been here ever since. I won't translate all of this into Portuguese, but I will say that eu tenho um BMW "M" que e' azul e por isso uso a senha de EmeAzul. gozado, eu também já tive uma BMW, era branca, agora vou de audi.

procure o site da MB (marinha do Brasil) lá vc irá achar muita coisa sobre a colaboração US/Brasil durante a guerra.
