Default Warship Combat: Dreadnoughts and Battleships

Any thoughts on this game from NWS?

Look here : http://forums.navalwarfare.org/showthread.php?t=582

It looks good but I was wondering what others thought of it. It certainly looks like it's well supported with updates.

Thanks in advance!

I like it. It has a fine gunnery and damage model. The manuevers are abstract but this is primarily a gunnery and torpedo sim. The variety of ships keeps increasing through FREE upgrades othe companies charge for. The scenario editor is a dream.

Now, if you want to do things like crossing the "T", this game isn't for you. For that, I'd recommend their Fighting Steel project or wait for their "Navies at War" game.

Let mr clarify. If you maintain a line and the enemy line sails toward you, he crosses his own T. However, there's no sweeping sailing maneuvers.

Thanks for the response!

I've since downloaded the demo and I'm trying it out now.
