Silent Hunter 5 TWoS possible to make changes?

Hello!

I decided after quite some time to play the Silent Hunter Games again so i installed Silent Hunter 5 again and also installed the TWoS Mod again.

So my question is now: Is it possible to make some (mostly graphical) changes on the mod and if so how?

For example i would love to use some other mods that changes the Appearance of the Crew/removes the Beards of them and maybe change the Uniforms. Also would like to maybe change the Map because that "glass filter" over it makes some things more difficult to read.

also is there a option to manually open the Grammophone and use the "Großdeutscher Rundfunk 1939-1945" Mod with TWoS"?

There is an ini file,that can be used to adapt the "Gro ß deutscher Rundfunk 1939-1945" Mod to TWOS
