@Jimbuna...

A great post and a remembrance of a much missed member; as with some of the others, I had a few contacts with Sailor Steve via PMs, including me apologizing for possible infractions I may have committed; I was remembering him last week and the very first personal reference to me made by him was regarding a very early, if not first post I made, which, IIRC, was about the history of major earthquakes in LA over the previous few decades; Steve actually posted a review of my post and, along with critiquing my grammar, gave me an overall positive rating; I have always remembered that bit of his kindness and his responses to my PMs...

There was a line in the finale of aTV series stating that if you touch someone or influence someone or maybe just leave a memory with someone and they remember that about you, then maybe you never really die; as long as there are among us those who hold the memory of Sailor Steve, then he will be with us for a very long time...

Happy birthday, Sailor Steve, we celebrate your life and your sharing it with us...

Me too - especially the one with the orang-utan

Very touching sentiments from vienna - yes he was a great guy, not deserving of the grief I gave him from time to time - I do regret that. An educated, cultivated man, he was a cornerstone of Subsim and his absence is sorely felt
