I remember when I bought this album by Joe Jackson, I was blown ayway by 'Glamour and pain', a beautiful song with a brutal text. Sung by Allison Cornell who died in february last year. RIP.

A traditional British Isles "Murder Ballad" - this is by far my favorite rendition. Most artists play it too fast IMO. This version is haunting.

One of the beautiful songs from this movie. A young, talented artist can no longer paint or draw.....and the people ( some of them ) that she loses. A hard life indeed.
