During the development of the German Puma IFV - the by now most expensive IFV in the world, thats why literally nobody wants to buy it - they decided that the development was to be further delayed and more millions were to be invested because they could not rule out that engine fumes could leak into the cabin in so small quanities that it means nothing for a normal adult soldier, but that it could harm the unborn fetus of a pregnant women in the cabin.
For a war machine's troop compartment, that of course it totally unacceptable.
