Default There's more to life than just the ME-109E

Has anyone made a new ME-109 that is the G variant for SH3? The one in the game is the early years E type, while the G type is the one that was used the most. My modelling skills with SH3ditor are almost good enough to do it myself, but it would be better if someone has a model I can use already. Since I can't find that there is one, this is just a hopeful query...
Oh, and since I'm on the subject, has anyone fixed the aircraft AI that causes even large bombers to do a sharp pull up when making a turn? It's a little unrealistic. Actually, a lot. Thanks.

Wasn't the versions from F and up just external Gun pods? Mostly for shooting up Bombers?

I don't think this has been done.

I do remember that the U-Boat HAHD team had a beautiful early variant of the Bf-109 in development for SH3, it was an ultra-high detail craft with a 3d modeled engine and precisely modeled landing gear - among other things. I'm not good at ID'ing Bf-109 types but I think it was one of the 1939-1940 types with the struts on the tail. Unfortunately, that modding team seems to have broken up a long time ago. So their Bf-109 was never released.

The G variant had rounded wingtips, not squared, and removed the little struts under the rear horizontal stabilizers, and a small, rounded scoop on the left side of the engine cowling. A cleaner, meaner look. So, most Bf 109's did not have wing struts!

I know that the Testpilot created models for SH3.

Icon7 Beautiful plane

The 109 series were beautiful planes. I always liked the early version with the wing struts and had a blast for many years in IL2 flying all versions.

I know, I like the wing struts too. I have gotten used to seeing the E-model soldier on throughout the war, just a feature of the game I guess.
