What was built by men and women over the past 80 years—through hard work, and in some cases, at the cost of their lives—on both sides of the Atlantic is now being undone in just a few short weeks.

Unbelievable. Humanity has learned nothing from history.

Never have I ever witnessed so many goddamn cry babies in my life.

European GDP is 20.9 trillion
Russian GDP is 8 trillion

All that’s been asked of you is to pull your heads out of your collective arse and do more in defense of your own countries. That’s it nothing more how hard is that to understand?

We already have 11 carrier strike groups around the world protecting your trade routes. The least you complainers can do is pull it together enough to defend yourselves.

Our plate is fookin’ full we ask that you do more to help yourselves and somehow you instead get your panties in bunch and manage to twist something as simple as self defense it into some pretty absurd bullshyte like skybird posted, nationalize U.S. weapon systems stationed in Europe, and leaving NATO because Trump is a poopy pants. I suggest y’all put the crack pipe down.

Yes that’s exactly what we expect.

I don't get it, I posted what I thought was a pretty awe inspiring speech from French President Macron describing the lengths he’d go to defend Europe. To me it was rally cry, something that could have been used to motivate others. Instead it gets moved, buried under YouTube personalities and forgotten in the Ukraine thread.

Back to the bimpie and absurd montage of fallen religious guru videos, YouTube’s personalities, anonymous sources, & conspiracy theories I guess.

We’ll see, my understanding is the cuts aren’t meant to diminish our readiness but to cut wasteful spending. On bright side he’s not the final arbiter. Our constitution stipulates congress is ultimately responsible for our defense the executive branch basically administers it.

I reckon you ought to get prepared to protect your own trade routes though. Just in case

Ukraine and China have signed an agreement to expand the list of Ukrainian agricultural exports to China, in particular, peas, fish and seafood caught in natural reservoirs. This is the way. Thanks Krasnov. China also bypassing Russia, building 3 new railroads to Europe a biggly achievement of Krasnov.

Good for Ukraine & China this post should moved to the China or Ukraine thread.

I will say this though China wouldn’t have done this deal if they thought Putin had a chance of overrunning Ukraine. Same goes for Norways increase in aid to Ukraine.

I know that it's not supposed work like that, but from I'm reading and seeing it sure looks like this is the direction it is supposed to be going. DOGE made cuts or at least tried to do cuts to already approved spending, or the Fork in the road initiative that is promising not yet approved funds, for federal workers resigning being payed through to September? which is not how it works by your own admission, so are they still holding the purse strings or not?

You see we have three, count them THREE branches of government the judicial, executive and legislative. Each of them exist to keep the other in check. The executive might think something is a good idea, the judicial system may not and the people intervene through representation in congress. It’s an eternal struggle for power a system of government that ensures no one person can win. I’m good with that.

As someone wrote on FB- " I think it's time to affect the opposition, so they can remove Trump by using their constitution"

I say this is more complicated than affect the opposition in the States, to remove an elected President.
