Not bad for a first kill on a first patrol!

Holy Grale Yamato is always good to take, but you don't give any details on difficulty or game mode. If this was on a custom patrol, a war patrol or during campaign.
The first can be done in a easy fashion letting you chose the enemy assets, but during Campaign or War Patrol I'd wish you good luck to have such an encounter. (on hard settings for the map, you'll get unlucky 90% of the time trying to intercept these battleships, they are way too fast for you). And with the highest difficulty settings it's almost impossible not losing your sub due to the many escorts to evade. If you have managed all that, then congrats Captain! ![]() Last edited by XenonSurf; 12-18-24 at 11:35 AM. |

This was the first kill of the first patrol of a new career. One in a million chance I'd say.
I usually play at expert level but this campaign I decided to drop combat level to intermediate just to see what it's like. So far it the japanese asw seem slightly more realistic, obviously more forgiving than advanced. I'm on my 13th patrol and have just passed the 1 million tonne mark which was nice. |
