Historical deployment of type IXD2

Hello there! Was wondering what I would need to do, to have the IXD2 show up to match with its historic deployment year? To my knowledge the first boat to see front line service was U-177 in Sept of 42, the boat based on what I have so far would have had the first turm type for the type IX, 20mm gun on the turm and a 37mm gun aft of the turm.

So what I am looking for, are instructions on how to have the boat match its first year frontline deployment.

I am running KCGWX typically through sh3 commander.

Good news, was able to figure it out. Now just need to change how it looks in the upgrade menu.
