Default Who now owns SES-if anyone does?

I ask because there is still a website in being advertising products which as far as I can tell are simply not available. I probably last tried to run Jutland about 6 months ago, maybe longer. It loaded but I noticed that my "offline capable" status had gone. More recently I've tried again but with absolutely no joy. Nothing works: not just the main program seems dead but there is no sign of any support and if I try to log into my account I'm told my user name/password combination is wrong.

This seems like a sad end for a naval simulation which, though is had its faults, had some outstanding features, not least its ability to handle 3d models for the entire Grand and High Seas Fleets. I never played Distant Guns but I gather it was equally rewarding. The campaigns were bad and I abandoned them in the end but the scenarios were definitely worth the effort of learning. I can still remember my sense of triumph when I succeeded in deploying the Grand Fleet in a single line ahead without collisions or other mayhem.

Two aspects of the current situation strike me as bad. If a small but loyal group of customers don't even merit the courtesy of an email explaining the situation, what is "SES" doing still advertising Jutland and Distant Guns for sale? Secondly what happened to the "orphan code" we were promised by Messrs Koger and Rose? If Jutland and its predecessor are now dead, isn't it time to honour that promise?

Sorry for the rant. I hope others have some positive news.

Tried Jutland again and it worked (as at 4/2/25), so hopefully not just a brief reprieve.
