French Navy Receives Third Barracuda SNA

Naval Group has delivered “Tourville,” the third Suffren-class nuclear attack submarine, to the French defense procurement agency.

The agency partnered with the Atomic Energy and Alternative Energies Commission to replace the French Navy’s aging Rubis-class nuclear attack submarines with a fleet of six Suffren-class vessels under the Barracuda program.

Pretty good news for the MN I am actually surprised though that they didn't go for 8 boats to give them more flexibility operationally.

Will be interesting to see the next gen SNLE
