Hello,
Is anyone using this mod? The description says it’s an add on, but the downloaded file says stand alone. When I try to run a career with it I get a menu Id not found” which, according to another thread “ The menu ID not found problem deals with a corrupt menu_1064_768.ini file or a corrupt file that the id is calling for.” Not sure if the download is corrupted or if it’s just a stand alone that doesn’t play with NYGM. Thanks! |

I agree and I appreciate it. But these older mods seem to work better on the steam deck. I haven’t figured out how to run anything with a widescreen GUI or resolution fix, and I can’t find anyone who has.
If I could figure that out, I’d just roll with OneAlex. |

I found this mod in my backup downloads collection and tried it with both GWX and SH3 ORIG clean installs and it won't work. I'm sure I found that out a long time ago and just integrated parts of it into my ongoing Ubermod of mods. The "HT- 147 Historical references" that comes with it is a thing of beauty and I'm proud to have it in my docs collection.

I see no reason to try to inject it into NYGM, as NYGM already have Harbor Traffic. But everything is possible, at least most of the times. In this case with a lot of work. [EDIT] The HT147 runs fine with unmodified vanilla SH3 v14. No RUb needed! Another evening wasting time, but not for nothing. My SH3 vanilla is 1.4.b as opposed to 1.4. I kind of thought the 1.4b was necessary to run without Starforce. Makes a difference I guess.

There is no v1.4a, so v1.4 is actually v1.4b as far i can tell.
Go try to find what Ubisoft pushed out there Updates. There exist 1.0, 1.1, 1.2, 1.3 and v1.4b https://www.silenthunteriii.com/uk/updates.php This numbers have nothing todo with Starforce or not. |

SH3 without the DVD instructed update to 1.4, and the latest upgrade I had at that time was 1.4b. I just wonder how many players nowadays install from the DVD anyway. Even if HT147 does run it's nothing compared to later megapods such as NYGM or GWX. One of the best mods I found for even more
harbor improvements (though not traffic) is -"Harbor&Terrain_Expansion_MOD" by trainer1942 from 2007. Just one thing it does among a lot more is add towns and buildings where before there was no sign of human life beyond the immediate harbor. Last edited by Captain Drastic; 11-24-24 at 07:29 PM. |
