Then, after the bill is shot down, she does no more. Gives up.
Appreciate that Chris but I shudder at the thought of Trump winning.

At the end of the day it is for the US people to decide but I'm wondering if they're options/choices have ever been so poor.

Thank you.

We have had 4 years of Trump. The world is still standing. We have had 4 years of Biden(Harris who would not have changed anything). The world is still standing. All be it many are struggling to survive financially in the world that is standing after Biden(Harris). I'll take another 4 years of mean tweets over $7 for a dozen eggs.

Concerning these polls, FOX(Trump is leading) MSN(Harris is leading) CNN(Harris is leading). These news outlets polls from those that watch the left and right leaning. In short, the polling is skewed for these sources.

I find this individual, that pulls polling from multiple sources to make an educated prediction of the outcome, to be the best. Only concern yourself with swing state polling and who has the edge. These are the states that make or break a win.

Why?

As AVG says he has already been president for four whole years so he should be a known quantity to you. The crap that the Democrats are slinging, that he's going to be the next Hitler, is not at all supported by his proven track record in office.

So what has all you Europeans knickers in such a twist over the prospect he'll be elected for another (and final) 4-year term?

What should make all shudder is the fact that Harris' handlers stopped the FOX interview. It was going down hill quickly. Harris looked angry for being there. They knew it. If she needs handlers to conduct an interview I can only imagine what her handlers will do if she is running the country.

Straight from Harris campaign page. What happens when one group is overly favored then another group? Racism.

Really pandering and grasping here for black men to vote Harris. And a loan that is FORGIVABLE is really a gift. Not a loan. This is a desperate candidate.

Quote:
Vice President Harris will deliver for Black men and their families.
Vice President Harris is laying out an agenda to give Black men the tools to build wealth and achieve financial freedom, lower costs for themselves and their families, and protect their rights—addressing the issues that Black men across the country have told her are their top concerns.

Provide 1 million forgivable loans up to $20,000 to Black entrepreneurs and others who have a good idea but don’t have the resources, connections, or access to capital to get their business off the ground
Launch a National Health Equity Initiative focused on Black men
Legalize marijuana at the federal level to break down unjust legal barriers that hold Black men and other Americans back
Lower costs by enacting the first-ever federal ban on corporate price-gouging for food and groceries
Lower rent and provide down payment assistance to triple the number of new first-time Black homeowners

A thought- Many Americans see themselves as isolationist. Could it be that many of these Americans will vote Trump because he put USA first and want to withdraw from NATO/Europe.

Who told you we were isolationist? It doesn’t take much investigating to see we are economically, diplomatically and militarily involved on just about every continent on this planet. Looking at our history the isolation argument normally comes around when deciding to fund or send American lives to fight in another European War. But we will always do what it takes to protect our interests abroad. Our offensive capable blue water navy isn’t just for show.

As for NATO, no U.S. president, not even Trump, can arbitrarily pull out of NATO. It quite literally would take an act of congress for that to happen.

It was some people in a chat who said they would vote trump. One of them called himself a isolationist
I have also heard the same in a weekly Magazine in our News channel called the Battle for USA. Here an expert on USA, once said that many Americans are isolationist.

What does google say about this ? So I made a search and found this page

Quote:
A recent Associated Press-NORC Center for Public Affairs Research found a similar public tilt toward internationalism. In their poll, 23 percent wanted the United States to take a more active role in solving world problems, and 36 percent said that the current level of U.S. involvement is about right. In contrast, just 40 percent wanted the United States to be less active.

It’s not as cut and dry as ya might think. We’ve always had people claiming to be isolationists in this country, every country has them. And those same self proclaimed isolationists have also changed their mind and become interventionist.

Really, who in their right mind wants to go around sticking their nose in someone else’s business, attempt to solve the worlds problems, spend trillions of dollars on others or go fight someone else’s war, without knowing why, would you? I sure as hell wouldn’t , not unless it’s in my nations interest to do so. Sounds like I might be an isolationist but reality I just want to be convinced.

Thats the job of every politician including yours, to sell us on the idea that intervention is in our country’s interests.

My impression of that CFR article is how dare you ask questions just do what we’re told, Trump bad.

Exclamation

So DoD is now authorized to use lethal force on US citizens on our own soil???? Cool beans! They probably aren't even allowed to use lethal force on illegal aliens? Might next to mix a few of those fellers into our ranks to keep our current government from mowing us down. Hopefully all those woke MFs are as bad at loading as Walz. aka Elmer Fudd lol

Trump's first 4 years the word isolationist was thrown about. Is it such a bad thing? To right the ship the leaking holes need to be patched. This ship called the USA is listing. People are pouring in. Money is pouring out. Time to plug the holes.

We live in a global economy. The short answer is "Yes".

Unless you would enjoy picking through the five items at Wal*Mart before you barter for a butchered cow.

If you REALLY want that cabin way off the beaten path, go for it.
Just try not to drag the rest of us along.
